Charity's Struggle and Confession
Charity had been struggling alone after reporting Dr Todd to the police. In recent scenes, she bravely opened up to husband Mack about everything that had happened. During Tuesday's double bill of episodes due to FIFA World Cup 2026 coverage, DS Reid (played by Angela Lonsdale) agreed to take a statement on the serious blackmail allegation but warned that it would be treated separately from the sexual assault charge, leaving Charity dismayed that her efforts may have been in vain.
Reeling from the setback, Charity admitted she regretted revealing the truth, believing she has failed to protect Sarah Sugden and that Dr Todd will still escape a sexual assault charge. Mack's Confrontation
