Jasmine Harman Returns to Work After Hernia Surgery

Channel 4 presenter Jasmine Harman has returned to work after recovering from a hernia operation. The A Place in the Sun host shared sun-soaked snaps from Greece on Instagram, revealing she had arrived in Corfu to film a new episode of the property programme.

In her post, Harman wrote: 'My first full shift back at work! Bit of a treck to get here but definitely warming up to Corfu! If you've been before I'd love to hear your insider secrets?!'

The 50-year-old had announced two weeks earlier that she had undergone surgery. In a video message, she said: 'I'm recovering from surgery, I had to have a small surgical procedure, nothing serious, just a little hernia operation. But I've got a couple of weeks off work.'

Harman admitted the minor procedure had 'knocked the wind out of her sails', adding that she would be taking things steady. She also said she partly welcomed the rest but had felt 'useless' at times, and was looking forward to returning to work, though not to leaving her family.

Fans flooded her with messages of support, with one writing: 'Take care and get well soon. Kindest regards from Scotland.' Another said: 'Delighted it went well, a hernia can be very painful, get yourself a good book and put your feet up for a few days.'
