Actor Jason Momoa showcased his remarkably fit 6-foot-4-inch physique during a performance with his rock cover band Öof Tatatá at The Red Dog Saloon in Pioneertown, California, on Tuesday evening. The 46-year-old star, best known for his role in Aquaman, wore a tight black tank top as he played bass guitar alongside frontman and guitarist Mike Hayes and drummer Kenny Dale.
Beer and Riffs
Born in Honolulu and raised in Iowa, Momoa, who also works as a DJ, used his muscular biceps to chug beers between musical riffs. The event was first-come, first-served at the packed desert venue, marking the band's debut performance near Joshua Tree. The motorcycling entrepreneur and founder of Meili Vodka reposted fan footage of himself playing bass on his Instagram story for his 16.8 million followers to enjoy.
Upcoming Shows
Öof Tatatá are scheduled to perform next on Friday at The Penmar in Los Angeles. In addition to his musical pursuits, Momoa has been romantically linked to actress Adria Arjona, whom he reportedly began dating in 2024. The Puerto Rican actress, 34, was still married to lawyer Edgardo Canales when she first met Momoa in November 2019 on the set of their Netflix action thriller in Pittsburgh.
Family Life
Momoa and his ex-wife Lisa Bonet, also known as Lilakoi Moon, separated in October 2020 after three years of marriage, but their divorce was not finalized until 2024. On July 21, Momoa and Bonet will celebrate the 19th birthday of their daughter Lola Iolani. Meanwhile, Momoa's 17-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf Momoa has secured the role of Leto II, the son of Paul Atreides and Chani, in Dune: Part Three. Momoa expressed pride in his son's independent achievement, noting that he secured the role without assistance.
Film Projects
Momoa returns as a ghola called Hayt, resembling his late character Duncan Idaho, in the final chapter of Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi epic, set for release in US and UK theaters on December 18. Other upcoming films include Julian Schnabel's drama In the Hand of Dante (June 24), Craig Gillespie's reboot Supergirl (June 26), and Kitao Sakurai's action comedy Street Fighter (October 16). Momoa also maintains a strong influencer presence with paid partnerships for brands such as LEGO, Tilta, and Humble Brands.
