Kate Moss Set for Netflix Docuseries Following Beckham and Kylie Success
Kate Moss in Talks for Netflix Docuseries

Kate Moss is reportedly the next high-profile figure to be featured in a Netflix docuseries, following the streaming giant's successful specials on Victoria Beckham and Kylie Minogue. According to sources, a production company is pitching a profile on the 52-year-old supermodel to Netflix, coinciding with the 35th anniversary of her iconic 1992 Calvin Klein campaign that catapulted her to fame at just 18 years old.

Production Company's Hopes

The production company is optimistic that Moss herself will be interested in participating. An insider told The Sun: 'Although she is known for her ''Never complain, never explain'' approach to life, there are signs that she might now be willing to discuss her life in a way she never has before.' The source added: 'Getting Kate on board would make a huge difference to the streamers and probably spark a bidding war, if it came to fruition.'

Chicken-and-Egg Situation

The insider acknowledged a potential hurdle: 'Though it's a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation where having Kate sign up might be dependent on someone like Netflix saying it is interested first.' Producers are reportedly 'desperate' to find a way to make the series happen, hoping that the success of previous TV autobiographies on David and Victoria Beckham, Kylie Minogue, and Gordon Ramsay will be persuasive.

Moss's Previous Documentary Appearances

If the series goes ahead, it would follow Moss's appearance in the Apple TV documentary In Vogue: The 90s, where she candidly discussed her modelling career. In that show, released in 2024 and available on ITVX, Moss revealed that her trim figure drew criticism from parents of children with eating disorders. Additionally, the film Moss & Freud, which follows artist Lucian Freud as he painted her portrait in 2001, is set to be released this week.

Kylie Minogue's Netflix Documentary

Kylie Minogue recently took centre stage on Netflix with a three-part documentary series, where she tearfully disclosed that she had a second cancer diagnosis in 2021, leaving her a 'shell of a person'. She recalled keeping the diagnosis secret from the public during her career resurgence. The singer said she had been trying to find the 'right time' to tell her fans but struggled to do so. Her song Story, from her sixteenth studio album Tension, was written about her second cancer battle.

Victoria Beckham and Gordon Ramsay Series

Kylie's documentary followed the success of Victoria Beckham's series released in 2025, two years after husband David's series Beckham in 2023. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay also featured in a six-part tell-all documentary released in February 2026.

Daily Mail has contacted Netflix and Kate's representatives for comment.
