Lucy Boynton made a rare public appearance with her musician boyfriend Murdo Mitchell as they stepped out following the press night for the West End play 1536 at London's Ambassadors Theatre. After taking in the Tudor-set production, the couple proceeded to the show's after-party at House of Louie restaurant, where they were joined by several high-profile stars.
Actress Lucy, 32, cut an elegant figure in a cherry print white mini dress paired with brown lace-up boots, clutching the arm of her partner, 26. Meanwhile, Murdo looked smart in a brown blazer and trousers, complemented by a printed white T-shirt. The loved-up pair offered a small smile as they left the party together and headed down the street.
The couple's romance was revealed in September 2023 after they were spotted kissing and cuddling during a stroll in London's Soho. The Scottish singer has since been seen attending a slew of star-studded events by Lucy's side. Murdo shot to fame at age 16 after an X Factor appearance in 2014, though his dreams were dashed when Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh rejected him. He has since forged an impressive music career, with the Glasgow-based artist releasing his debut album Aztec Jewel in 2023 and signing with Sony Music Norway/Drabant. New music and shows are planned in the coming months, including a performance at BST Hyde Park in July alongside headliner Lewis Capaldi.
Murdo and Lucy's relationship came after she split from actor Rami Malek in early 2023, following over five years together. The pair met on the set of their film Bohemian Rhapsody and dated from 2017 to 2023 before reportedly growing apart. Rami, 45, soon moved on with fellow English actor Emma Corrin, 30, with the duo quickly moving in together before splitting in 2025 after two years together.
Coincidentally, The Crown star Emma was also in attendance at the 1536 event, cutting a sharp figure in a bold red jumper, baggy grey trousers, and a black leather jacket. She appeared in good spirits as she sat in the backseat of a car following the after-party.
Also in attendance was Margot Robbie, who turned heads in a striking black and gold military-style jacket. The Barbie actress, 35, attempted to keep a low profile as she quickly headed outside and into a waiting car alongside husband Tom Ackerley, 35. Margot cut a stern figure as she was later snapped in the car as film producer Tom joined her. Meanwhile, Hayley Atwell and fiancé Ned Wolfgang were all smiles as they hopped into a black cab after leaving the venue hand-in-hand. Pregnant Michelle Dockery was also in a good mood, joining husband Jasper Waller-Bridge at the event. Elsewhere, the likes of Simon Pegg, Baz Luhrmann, and Quentin Tarantino were also in attendance.
