King Charles has shared a powerful message about humanity's intrinsic connection to the natural world in a major new documentary set for release next month.
A Lifelong Vision for Environmental Harmony
The film, titled Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, is produced in collaboration with The King’s Foundation and narrated by Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet. In a newly released trailer, the monarch articulates a core philosophy that has guided his decades of advocacy. "We are nature ourselves," he states. "We are a part of it, not apart from it."
The documentary promises to chronicle His Majesty's pioneering work on environmental issues long before they entered the mainstream conversation. It will detail his early championing of organic farming and his advocacy on the science behind biodiversity loss, deforestation, and climate change.
Global Scope and Hopeful Solutions
Shot across four continents by the award-winning production company Passion Planet, the film documents the undeniable global decline of nature. However, it aims to counter this stark reality with a hopeful vision for the future, rooted in practical action.
A central focus is the work of The King’s Foundation, which Charles founded in 1990. The film will show how the charity, headquartered at Dumfries House in East Ayrshire, embodies his philosophy through hands-on projects. These initiatives focus on community regeneration, sustainable textiles, and the preservation of traditional skills.
"We must put nature back at the heart of the equation," the King asserts in the trailer, which features archive footage spanning his entire public life. This call to action underpins his lifelong mission to find a sustainable balance.
Royal Collaboration and Global Release
The narration by Kate Winslet adds a distinguished voice to the project. Winslet became an ambassador for The King’s Foundation last year and attended the charity's awards ceremony at St James’s Palace in June 2025.
Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision will be released globally on Prime Video on February 6. It will be available to viewers in more than 240 countries and territories, ensuring the King's environmental message reaches a worldwide audience.
