Channel 4's Gogglebox star Helena Worthington has announced she is pregnant with her second child. The 31-year-old television personality shared the happy news with her followers on Instagram this Sunday.
A Precious Family Moment
Helena posted a photograph of herself gardening with her six-year-old son, Erwin, clearly showing her baby bump. She was dressed in a burgundy floral dress with a knitted cardigan and jacket. In the caption, the expectant mother wrote candidly about her pregnancy experience at 33 weeks.
"Pregnant. Tired. Raging indigestion," she stated. "Still crouching down to explain why we don't dig up all the bulbs." She described the scene, noting it was taken at RHS Bridgwater with her "first baby, while waiting for my next one."
Life as an Artist and TV Star
Helena, who appears on the hit Channel 4 show alongside her parents Alison and George, welcomed her first child with partner Dan in 2019. Both Helena and Dan are practising artists. She works from Islington Mill studios, focusing on sculpture and painting.
Reflecting on her growing family, Helena called these "in-between moments" "really precious lately — messy, slow, and very real." She added, "I'm excited but I feel weird that Erwin will seem so big all of a sudden."
The Gogglebox Gig and Family Time
In a surprising revelation from a 2023 interview, Helena confessed she "doesn't own a TV" despite having been on Gogglebox for six years. She told OK! Magazine that she doesn't really watch television at home and uses the show as a way to catch up on programmes at her mother's house.
"It's a pretty good gig because you get to sit down and eat food and watch telly," she joked. Her mother, Alison, has said it's "lovely" for the family trio to reunite weekly, adding, "There's no getting out of it for Helena. She has to come and see her mum and dad."
Last year, Helena also spoke warmly of her partner, Dan, telling WalesOnline he is "an amazing artist and has always supported me wholeheartedly." The family is now eagerly awaiting the arrival of their newest member.
