Paloma Faith Flaunts Baby Bump & Shares Throwback in New Instagram Post
Paloma Faith shows off baby bump in new Instagram post

Singer Paloma Faith has given fans a glimpse of her pregnancy journey, sharing a loved-up snap with her boyfriend while also diving into her past with a nostalgic throwback photo.

A Glimpse of Present Happiness

On Friday, the 44-year-old music star took to Instagram to post a black and white image showing off her growing baby bump. In the photo, Paloma is seen holding hands with her partner, managing director Stevie Thomas. She announced she was expecting their first child together back in October.

For the occasion, Faith wore a white cropped T-shirt from Champion, layered necklaces, and a pair of distressed denim jeans. The jeans were unbuttoned and folded down to comfortably display her pregnancy.

A Nostalgic Dance Throwback

Immediately following the bump reveal, the star participated in a popular online trend by sharing a throwback picture from her dancing days. The image, believed to be from around 1999 in Leeds, shows a younger Paloma mid-dance move.

In the throwback, she sports a knotted white crop top paired with low-rise camouflage cargo trousers. Her look was completed with a chunky green belt, a wide headband, and a silver belly button piercing. She credited the find to a friend, writing a lighthearted caption about the memory.

Finding Love and New Perspectives

Paloma's relationship with Stevie, who is the director of venue The JamHouse, became public knowledge in March of last year. This new chapter comes after what the singer described as a 'devastating' split from her ex-husband, French artist Leyman Lahcine, in 2022. The pair, who married in 2017 and share two daughters, were together for nine years, and their separation reportedly led Paloma to suffer a nervous breakdown.

Friends of the couple have described their bond as both 'sexy and exciting' and profoundly healthy, noting Stevie's communicative nature. Interestingly, this relationship has caused a shift in Faith's long-held stance on marriage.

Previously 'very anti-marriage' due to its historical connotations, Paloma admitted on a podcast in March that she is now softening her view and keeping an 'open mind' about the possibility with Thomas. She humorously suggested her feminist mother might see this change as a 'mid-life crisis'.

The singer, who is currently enjoying her pregnancy, has been spotted showing off her bump on holiday with Stevie in Oman as recently as January, signalling a happy and content new phase in her life.
