Conrad Sewell Welcomes Third Child, Baby Girl Portia Rose
Singer Conrad Sewell welcomes baby number three

Chart-topping Australian singer Conrad Sewell has announced the arrival of his third child, a baby girl, with his fiancée Jasmine Hingston. The musician shared the joyful family update with his followers on Instagram this Friday.

A December Arrival for the Growing Family

The couple welcomed their daughter, Portia Rose Sewell, on December 8. In a sweet video set to Daniel Caesar's 'We Find Love', the newborn was seen wearing a delicate pink bow, a babygrow adorned with pink butterflies, and frilly white socks as she wriggled in her cot. Conrad marked the occasion in the caption with his daughter's name and her birth date written in Roman numerals.

This birth comes just two years after the arrival of the couple's second child, another daughter named Faith Rose Annelise Sewell, who was also born in December. Their first child, a son named Memphis Rose Ignatius, was born in March 2022.

Fatherhood: A 'Big Blessing' and New Motivation

In a 2023 interview with Daily Mail Australia, Sewell opened up about the profound impact of parenthood. He described it as "amazing" but admitted it was harder than he had anticipated. The 'Start Again' hitmaker revealed that becoming a father has added a new layer of pressure to his music career, as he now feels a heightened responsibility to provide for his family.

"It teaches you a lot about yourself, but ultimately it's just the best. To have that much love for somebody other than yourself, for the first time in your life, is a pretty weird experience," he explained. "It's not just about me. I've got to think about my family for the first time, which is just another layer of life. Ultimately, I think that it's been a big blessing for me. It's probably something that I needed."

From 'Firestone' to Family Man

Conrad Sewell first rose to international fame after featuring on Kygo's 2014 global hit 'Firestone'. His own single, 'Start Again', released the following year, earned him an ARIA Award and cemented his status as a solo artist. His successful career has also seen him collaborate with the late DJ Avicii and tour with Ed Sheeran. Now, the 37-year-old artist is embracing his latest and most rewarding role yet as a father of three.
