Reality TV star Sophie Kasaei has shared the incredibly touching video of the moment she revealed her pregnancy news to her two closest friends, fellow Geordie Shore alumni Holly Hagan and Charlotte Crosby.
A Long-Awaited Dream Comes True
The 36-year-old and her boyfriend, Jordan Brook, 30, announced earlier this month that they are expecting their first child together. This joyful news comes after the couple faced a challenging two-year journey trying to conceive. Sophie's revelation to her friends was made even more special by the fact that Holly, 31, is also expecting. Holly shared in November that she and her husband, Jacob Blyth, are anticipating their second baby, a pregnancy announced just weeks after the tragic death of her sister, Darci.
In the adorable clip posted by Sophie, she and Jordan are seen sitting down with Charlotte and Holly. "Right so I've got you a present," Sophie says, before asking her pals to close their eyes. When they open them, they are greeted with Sophie's positive pregnancy test. "I'm also pregnant!" she excitedly declares.
An Emotional Reaction from Best Friends
The reaction was immediate and deeply emotional. Both Holly and Charlotte broke down in tears, rushing to embrace their expectant friend. Holly excitedly declared, "We're a month apart!" while Charlotte exclaimed through her tears, "All my best friends are pregnant!"
In a reflective caption accompanying the video, Sophie described the moment as "magical." She wrote about how her child would get to grow up alongside the families of her two best friends, praising Holly and Charlotte for their unwavering support. "These girls have been there for me through thick and thin we've supported each other through every part of life," she shared.
She added a poignant detail: "What made this even more special was I already knew Holly was pregnant and hadn't told her until this moment. The fact that we all get to do this next stage together and become mothers and grow our families is just magical."
Overcoming Fertility Struggles
The pregnancy announcement marks a significant and hard-won victory for Sophie and Jordan. In September, Sophie had revealed she suffered a chemical pregnancy and had begun a new treatment called Lymphocyte Immunization Therapy (LIT) at The Fertility And Gynaecology Academy in a continued effort to conceive.
Sophie has also shared the incredibly private moment she first discovered she was pregnant. In a separate clip, she is seen taking a test with a faint positive line, followed by a second test for confirmation. Overwhelmed with emotion, she sobbed, "Oh my God, I am pregnant."
The couple's official announcement was a festive-themed video, where they hung a bauble on their Christmas tree reading: 'Merry Christmas Mummy and Daddy. See you in 2026.' The video concluded with the message, 'Baby Brook Due 2026'. Jordan left a heartfelt comment on the post, stating, "My darling girl. I am so proud of you... We never lost hope, and through our toughest battle has come the most incredible blessing."
Holly commented on the friend reveal video, calling it "honestly one of the best days of my life," while Charlotte sweetly replied, "I love any night we are all together but this one really will go down in history."
