Julian Lennon diagnosed with heart disease and pre-diabetes, urges fans to get checked
Julian Lennon reveals heart disease and pre-diabetes diagnosis

Julian Lennon, the son of legendary musician John Lennon, has revealed that he has been diagnosed with coronary heart disease and is also pre-diabetic. The 63-year-old musician, best known for his 1984 hit "Too Late For Goodbyes," took to social media to share the news with his followers, urging them to prioritize their health.

Julian Lennon's health warning

In a Facebook post, Julian wrote: "After being diagnosed with coronary heart disease and a pre-diabetic, I urge you all to get checked out sooner rather than later. You never know what hidden health issues you may have, even after exercising and eating as much good/healthy food as possible. Nip it in the bud! As they say..."

He added that despite these ailments, he has caught them early enough to potentially reverse some damage and hopes to live a healthy long life. The post garnered over 6,000 reactions and more than 100 comments, with fans wishing him well.

Previous health scare

This is not the first time Julian has shared a health update. In 2020, he revealed he had a cancerous growth removed from his head after a dermatologist visit. He described feeling "shaking inside" following the emergency operation. Fortunately, the removal was successful, and he awaited further analysis.

Julian is the son of John Lennon and his first wife, Cynthia. The couple was married from 1962 to 1968 and had Julian as their only child together. John was tragically murdered in 1980 at age 40, while Cynthia passed away in 2015 after a battle with cancer.

Julian's message serves as a reminder for everyone to get regular check-ups and not ignore potential health issues.
