Biden's Dog Commander Left White House Floors Bloodied After Mauling Secret Service Agent

President Joe Biden's German shepherd, Commander, bit Secret Service agents in at least 24 incidents, with one attack leaving a 'severe deep open wound' and another causing White House tours to be halted for 20 minutes due to blood on the floors, according to newly released documents.

The documents, obtained by journalist John Greenewald through a Freedom of Information Act request, detail an attack inside the Kennedy Garden near First Lady Jill Biden's office. Video showed Commander, off-leash, running at high speed towards an agent and taking them to the ground, resulting in a deep bite to the left arm requiring stitches. The incident forced the closure of East Wing tours for 20 minutes because of blood on the lobby floor.

Another attack on July 29, 2023, occurred while Biden was on vacation in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The dog bit an agent on the left forearm, causing a 'severe deep open wound' that led to significant blood loss. The agent received six stitches to the left hand and forearm, plus antibiotics, and was taken to hospital.

One bite happened on October 2, 2022, while an agent was holding a door for President Biden near the West Wing Colonnade. Commander circled back and grabbed the agent's left arm. Although the skin was not broken, the agent expressed shock and concern for safety.

Commander has since been removed from the White House and is living with friends of the Bidens in Delaware. A source close to the family told DailyMail.com that the president and first lady are 'heartbroken' and 'feel awful' about the incidents, having apologised and sent flowers to those affected. The source added that Commander was 'over-protective' and despite efforts, they had to let him go.
