RFK Jr's Shirtless AI Wrestling Match Against Twinkie Goes Viral

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has sparked widespread attention by posting a bizarre AI-generated video on social media platform X. The footage depicts a shirtless Kennedy engaging in a wrestling match with a person dressed in a Twinkie costume, set to the soundtrack of Limp Bizkit's "Rollin'." The video, captioned "MAHAMania: Snack Down," forms part of Kennedy's ongoing "Make America Healthy Again" campaign, which aims to promote healthier eating habits across the United States.

Unconventional Promotion of Health Movement

In the AI clip, the digital representation of Kennedy repeatedly kicks and slams the Twinkie character to the ground, ultimately emerging victorious as the words "Eat Real Food" flash across the screen. The Twinkie costume features a sign reading "I [heart] Junk Food," symbolizing the conflict between processed foods and nutritional alternatives. This unusual approach follows Kennedy's history of sharing peculiar content to advance his health agenda, including previous workout videos featuring musician Kid Rock and exercising while wearing jeans.

Kennedy has intensified his efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of ultra-processed foods since assuming office, describing them as harmful to American health. During his confirmation hearing, however, he assured lawmakers that his focus would be on education rather than prohibition. "I don't want to take food away from anybody," Kennedy stated. "If you want to eat Hostess Twinkies, you should be able to do that, but you should know what the impacts are on your family and on your health."

Measles Outbreaks Amid Health Priorities

While Kennedy emphasizes nutrition, other critical public health issues have emerged. As of March 2026, measles has been reported in 31 states, with a significant outbreak in South Carolina involving over 1,000 cases, primarily among unvaccinated children. This represents the largest measles outbreak since the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention declared the disease eradicated more than 25 years ago.

Kennedy, known for his vaccine skepticism, has previously made misleading claims about vaccine safety, including false assertions linking vaccines to autism and suggesting they contain "aborted fetus debris." Despite this, he has endorsed the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine for children, though his statements have contributed to public doubt during the outbreak. A KFF Health poll indicated that inaccurate information about vaccines spread widely during the peak of the measles crisis in August.

In April, Kennedy announced plans to test unproven treatments for measles, such as cod liver oil, stating, "Good nutrition remains a best defense against most chronic and infectious illnesses." His leadership at the Department of Health and Human Services has faced criticism, with some questioning the scientific basis behind certain decisions.

The AI video release coincides with Kennedy's broader strategy to use unconventional methods to promote health awareness, reflecting a trend among Trump administration officials utilizing AI-generated content for political messaging. As public health challenges like measles outbreaks persist, Kennedy's focus on nutrition through viral videos continues to generate both support and controversy.
