Eva Amurri Reveals Breast Reduction Results: 'Finally in the Right Body'
Eva Amurri shares breast reduction surgery results

Eva Amurri, the daughter of acclaimed actress Susan Sarandon, has publicly shared the transformative results of her recent breast reduction surgery, an operation she says has finally allowed her to feel "in the right body." The media personality and so-called 'nepo baby' underwent the procedure in April 2025, reducing her bra size from a 32F to a 32C.

A Two-Decade Journey to Surgery

Amurri, now 40, revealed that the decision was over two decades in the making. In a social media clip from January 2025, she wrote about making the "huge decision" to proceed with the surgery, something she had wanted for more than 20 years. She admitted to previously putting it off "because I was scared of judgement," and had even "gaslit" herself into believing she didn't need to feel completely comfortable in her own skin.

By May 2025, weeks post-operation, she was showcasing her new figure. Posting a snap in a bra, she reflected that the hardest parts of healing were over. "I was suddenly feeling like I was in the right body for me since I hit puberty," Amurri expressed. "It was like staring a whole new chapter of life."

Freedom from Physical and Mental Strain

Speaking to Page Six at an event for Connie Britton's show The Motherhood in April, her joy was palpable. "Oh my God, I'm so happy," she said. "I feel like they've never looked this good in my entire life — even when I was 18." She described the profound sense of liberation, stating, "It’s so freeing and amazing to feel so comfortable in my own skin, to really look at myself and see myself proportional for the first time."

Amurri has been candid about the significant impact her previous breast size had on her wellbeing. She explained that extremely large breasts affected her both physically and mentally, leading to self-consciousness and insecurity. The physical toll included back pain, difficulty clothing herself, and the inescapable nature of the discomfort. Motherhood, she noted, caused further fluctuations that "contributed to drooping and sagging."

Clapping Back at Critics and Embracing Change

The surgery follows less than a year after Amurri faced a wave of criticism for her choice of wedding dress. In June 2024, she married chef Ian Hock in a strapless Kim Kassas gown that showcased her bust, drawing unwanted comments from online trolls who suggested her breasts should have been "put away." At the time, she defiantly responded on Instagram, zooming in on a wedding photo with the caption, "Feel free to screenshot this for later."

Now, having turned 40 and undergone the surgery, Amurri says she has realised she "can absolutely do scary things." Most importantly, she has learned that "living how I want to live in my own body is WORTH IT." She marked the day of her surgery with a symbolic "bye bye boobies" cake, celebrating the start of her new chapter. The actress, who was previously married to Kyle Martino and shares three children with him, is now embracing a future with renewed confidence and comfort.
