Musk Plans Nationwide Self-Driving Tesla Expansion

Elon Musk has announced that Tesla's fully self-driving cars are expected to expand nationwide later this year, following their initial rollout in Texas. However, current Tesla robotaxi services in Austin, Dallas, and Houston have experienced issues, including long wait times and inconvenient drop-off locations, according to Reuters.

Recent Recalls and Safety Concerns

Tesla recently recalled over 218,000 vehicles due to delayed rearview camera images, while Alphabet-owned Waymo also recalled approximately 3,800 robotaxis over flood-related safety concerns. These incidents have raised questions about the readiness of autonomous driving technology.

SpaceX and Reusable Rockets

Musk also stated that his company, SpaceX, is nearing the development of reusable rocket launch systems, which he believes will significantly reduce space travel costs and mark a historical turning point in space exploration.
