Jessi Ngatikaura, a cast member of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives (SLOMW), has spoken out about her regret over recent plastic surgery, saying it has “ruined my life and career.” In a TikTok video posted on Thursday, the reality star tearfully described her dissatisfaction with the results of an upper and lower blepharoplasty and facial fat grafting she underwent earlier this year.
“I want to tell everyone that I am extremely unhappy with my results and I didn’t quite understand what I was getting into,” Ngatikaura said. She explained that she originally went in for a lower blepharoplasty but was persuaded to have an upper blepharoplasty and facial fat grafting, which she did not fully comprehend. “I didn’t want that grafting, to be honest. I didn’t know what it was, what it was going to do, what the results were gonna be, what the recovery was gonna be,” she added.
The influencer and hair salon owner noted that the fat grafting was placed in her lips, which she did not ask for and did not want. “It’s made my lips really lumpy. I have one that dips. I’m getting a lot of comments about my lip filler, and I agree, it looks awful. My face looks terrible,” she said. Ngatikaura also revealed that she had tried Kybella injections to remove some of the fat, but that only made her look swollen.
Reflecting on her appearance, Ngatikaura said she looks back at season four of SLOMW and thinks, “Damn. I looked really good. I wish I could have seen that.” She stated that she will not undergo any further facial procedures beyond Botox. Her co-star Miranda McWhorter commented on the video, expressing pride in her friend’s honesty. “You are beautiful then and now. I love you,” McWhorter wrote.
Season four of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is set to premiere on March 12 on Hulu.
