'China's Nostradamus' Predicts US Defeat in Iran War After Two Correct Forecasts

A Canadian-Chinese professor, dubbed 'China's Nostradamus', has issued a grim prediction regarding US-Iran tensions, forecasting an American defeat that would reshape the global order. Xueqin Jiang, a Yale graduate and educator at Moonshot Academy in Beijing, gained attention after two of his three 2024 predictions proved accurate.

In May 2024, Jiang correctly forecast Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election. He also predicted that a second Trump term would likely lead to war with Iran, driven partly by Israeli interests. The third forecast warns that the US would lose such a conflict, citing Iran's demographics, geography, and resistance capabilities.

Jiang, who runs the YouTube channel Predictive History with 1.87 million subscribers, bases his analyses on historical trends, game theory, and geopolitical motivations. He draws parallels between a potential US-Iran war and the ancient Sicilian Expedition, where Athens suffered a catastrophic defeat.

According to Jiang, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) seeks conflict with the US due to anger over American interference. He stated that war is 'very likely in the next two to four years' and that the US would face insurmountable challenges in occupying Iranian territory.
