Real Housewives of Cheshire Returns for Second Series on ITVBe

The Real Housewives of Cheshire is set to return for a second series on ITVBe, following the success of its debut season. The show, which follows the glamorous lives of six wealthy women from Cheshire, has been a ratings hit for the channel since its launch last year.

All six original housewives have signed on for the new series, which will air later this year. The cast includes WAGs Tanya Bardsley, Leanne Brown, and Dawn Ward, football mum Magali Gorre, beauty salon owner Ampika Pickston, and Lauren Simon, who describes herself as a 'domestic goddess'.

The first series ended dramatically with a 'dinner party from hell' at Dawn Ward's £12 million mansion in Great Warford, featuring arguments, tears, and walk-outs. Despite the tensions, the women have agreed to move forward and will begin filming in June, covering summer social events such as the Bolesworth International equestrian event and Dawn's annual Creme de la Creme charity ball.

An ITV source said: 'ITVBe viewers loved getting a glimpse into the lives of our Cheshire housewives and we're thrilled that it's returning for a second series. The Real Housewives of Cheshire was one of the most successful original commissions for the channel and our audience are eagerly awaiting its return.'

The show has been ITVBe's second most-watched programme since the channel launched in October, peaking at over 600,000 viewers, behind only The Only Way Is Essex.
