Noel and Liam Gallagher have made the Sunday Times Rich List for the first time, amassing a projected fortune of £375 million after their hugely successful Oasis reunion tour in 2025. The Mancunian brothers join the ranks of music legends like Sir Paul McCartney and the Eavis family, founders of Glastonbury Festival, who are valued at £400 million.
Rich List Debut
The annual Sunday Times Rich List, released this weekend, features 350 of the wealthiest people in the UK. The Gallaghers' inclusion marks their debut on the list, following a mammoth 41-date world tour that kicked off in Cardiff in July 2025 and concluded in São Paulo in November. The tour generated enormous revenue, propelling the brothers into the top tier of British wealth.
Music Moguls and Billionaires
Sir Paul McCartney remains the highest-placed musician with an estimated worth of £1.055 billion, followed by Sir Elton John, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ed Sheeran in the top 10. However, the wealthiest individuals in the UK are Sanjay and Dheeraj Hinduja and family, leaders of the Hinduja Group, with a fortune of around £38 billion. Sir Leonard Blavatnik tops the music industry list with £26.852 billion.
Oasis Documentary and Future Plans
Fans are eagerly anticipating another run of concerts, with speculation about stadium gigs and a return to Knebworth. Meanwhile, a documentary chronicling the reunion and tour, directed by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, is set for release in cinemas and on Disney+ in September. The film promises an uplifting account of what is described as the biggest musical event of 2025. Knight stated, "I believe it captures the spirit and emotion of a global cultural moment and does justice to the wit and genius of two exceptional people."
