Donald Trump has taken to Truth Social to assert that “100%” of his endorsements in the May 19 Republican primaries emerged victorious, highlighting clean sweeps across Alabama, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Idaho, Oregon, and Kentucky.
According to the former president, all candidates he backed either won outright or secured first place in the primaries held in Georgia, Alabama, and Kentucky on Tuesday. In Idaho, three long-serving congressional incumbents, all Republicans endorsed by Trump, easily clinched their party’s nominations in yesterday’s primary election.
However, a handful of races remain unresolved and are heading to runoffs. Despite these outstanding contests, Trump’s claim underscores his continued influence within the Republican Party as the 2024 election cycle intensifies.
