Meghan Markle has enlisted her daughter Lilibet to help with her outfit as she prepares to travel to Switzerland for a meeting with the World Health Organisation (WHO). The Duchess of Sussex, 44, shared a mirror selfie of herself and the four-year-old Princess on Instagram, captioned 'Mama's little helper'. The snapshot, posted on Saturday, shows Meghan in an all-pink ensemble with Lilibet seated at her feet.
Upcoming WHO Event
The photo comes days before Meghan is scheduled to meet WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at the opening of the Lost Screen Memorial in Geneva on Sunday. The event precedes the 79th World Health Assembly and will gather global health leaders, ministers, and families affected by online harm. The memorial features 50 illuminated lightboxes, each displaying a mobile phone lockscreen picture of a child lost to digital harm or online violence.
Meghan's Role
On Friday, the Duchess's office stated she would 'pay tribute to the children remembered in the installation' and 'underscore the urgent need for stronger global protections for children online.' The event is hosted by the WHO and Archewell Philanthropies, the foundation of Prince Harry and Meghan, in partnership with The Parents' Network, a community of bereaved families advocating for online safety.
The foundation said the memorial aims to 'highlight the measurable and preventable harms' associated with violence against children online, including cyberbullying, grooming, sextortion, exposure to self-harm content, and unsafe emerging technologies without adequate safeguards. Attendees include Alfonso Gomez Cruz, Mayor of Geneva, along with health ministers and child safety advocates.
Recent Family Outing
Meghan's presence at the event follows a Mother's Day trip to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, with Lilibet, Archie (age 7), and husband Prince Harry (41). In pictures shared on Meghan's Instagram, Lilibet is seen meeting Princess Aurora and Cinderella. A video also showed Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, being greeted by Mickey Mouse as Meghan watched alongside Minnie Mouse and Lilibet.
