London Mayoral Election Results Timeline

Local elections are scheduled for May 7 across 136 councils in England, alongside contests for six mayoral positions in areas including Croydon, Hackney, Lewisham, Newham, Tower Hamlets, and Watford. Polling stations will be open between 7am and 10pm on May 7, with the first results expected within a few hours, and the final one on the evening of Saturday May 9.

Mayoral Election Counting Schedule

All of the mayoral elections are counting on Friday May 8. Hackney and Newham are expected to declare at 1pm, Watford at 2pm, Lewisham at 3pm, Croydon at 4pm and Tower Hamlets at possibly around 6pm.

Exit Poll and National Polling

No authoritative pollster has announced it is conducting an exit poll for this set of elections, but most have released polls based on national voting intention ahead of the event. The Independent has the round up here.
