Arcade Game Satirizes Trump's Iran War on National Mall

A new arcade game satirizing President Donald Trump's conflict with Iran has been installed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The game, titled "Operation Epic Furious: Strait to Hell," was created by the activist group Secret Handshake, which is also known for erecting a golden statue of Trump with Jeffrey Epstein and a gold-and-marble throne with a gilded toilet on the Mall.

Game Details

The arcade game is available for free on three cabinets located at the War Memorial and can also be played online. Secret Handshake stated they developed the game to highlight how the Trump administration has "gamified" war, pointing to the use of video game footage in official military videos. The satirical game features characters from Trump's administration and includes elements such as tweet battles against perceived threats and opportunities to collect "peace trophies."

Previous Installations

This installation is part of a series of satirical art pieces by Secret Handshake. Earlier works include a golden statue of Trump with Jeffrey Epstein and a gold-and-marble throne with a gilded toilet, both placed on the National Mall. The group uses these installations to critique the Trump administration's policies and actions.
