The documentary revisits the high-profile libel case between Vardy and Coleen Rooney, which concluded in July 2022 when the High Court ruled that Rooney's accusation that Vardy leaked stories to the press was 'substantially true'. Rooney's investigation involved planting a fake Instagram story about travelling to Mexico for fertility treatment, which later appeared in the press.
