Fans of Coronation Street are convinced that scenes aired this week have revealed who Ryan Connor will end up with on the ITV soap, following what they describe as 'clear chemistry' with another character.

This week, Ryan confronted Danielle Silverton about the night of her ex-husband Theo's murder. However, viewers were distracted by the apparent chemistry between the pair, with some questioning whether they had been together that night. This was quickly ruled out when Ryan explained what had actually happened, but fans still believe the interactions suggest they would 'make a great couple'.
Many viewers are now calling for soap bosses to explore a potential relationship between Ryan and Danielle, especially if she remains on the show. Some have noted that the scenes could be hinting at a future romance.

Taking to social media, one fan said: 'It was very strange the way Ryan raced out of the Bistro after Danielle when he could have told Lisa who was sat with him. I wonder if it was a deliberate way to show some interaction between them. I did detect some chemistry between them. I can see them going down the affair route, from enemies to lovers. It would definitely be unpopular with Lisa and Carla.'
