Ex-Yankee Carl Pavano Accused of Urinating in Shampoo in Bitter Divorce
Ex-Yankee Pavano Accused of Urinating in Shampoo

The bitter dispute between former New York Yankees pitcher Carl Pavano and his ex-wife, Alissa, has taken a shocking turn. Alissa has accused the World Series winner of urinating in her shampoo bottles and intentionally soiling the bed with other women, according to court documents obtained by CT Insider.

Prenup Battle Intensifies

The couple, who still share a home in Connecticut, are locked in a feud over a prenuptial agreement reportedly worth tens of millions of dollars. Alissa, a social media influencer with nearly 20,000 Instagram followers, wants the prenup thrown out, claiming Carl coerced her into signing it by threatening to abandon her.

Police have been called to the home nine times since 2024 amid the toxic dispute. In the court documents, Alissa alleges that her ex-husband peed in shampoo bottles in her private bathroom and intentionally soiled the bed she uses during her parenting time by having his female sex partners occupy it. She also claims he removed all clean linens from the house, leaving her unable to have a hygienically safe bed.

Firearms Incident

Within 20 minutes of being served divorce papers in 2024, Alissa alleges Carl sent a group text to her and their children showing multiple firearms laid out on the kitchen table with the caption: 'Hold the fort.' The couple has three children, aged 17, 16, and 11, and they share custody at their lavish 9,000-square-foot home.

The prenup was initially ruled valid by State Superior Court Judge Thomas O'Neill in January 2025, but he granted Alissa a $300,000 one-off alimony payment and ordered Carl to buy her a new home worth up to $1 million.

Allegations of Abuse

Alissa claims Carl demanded she sign the prenup and exhibited intense, controlling behavior, forcing her to walk on eggshells. She alleges he insisted she abandon her residence, potential employment, and all financial independence. In a separate application for relief from physical abuse, she states she has suffered significant abuse and coercive control that has escalated, making her feel unsafe in the marital residence.

Additionally, Alissa has sensationally claimed Carl planted drugs in her belongings, hid a secret camera in her bedroom, and stole items of jewelry from her.

Legal Arguments

Alissa's lawyers argued in a brief that a prenuptial agreement should not be a way for a monied spouse to force a partner to give up financial independence under threat of taking minor children away and leaving them destitute. Carl played 14 seasons in MLB, including a stint with the Yankees, where he signed a four-year, $39.5 million contract but made only 26 starts due to injuries. He also played for the Montreal Expos, Florida Marlins, Cleveland Indians, and Minnesota Twins, winning a World Series with the Marlins in 2003 and being named an All-Star that year.

The Daily Mail has contacted attorneys for both parties for comment.
