Katie Price has issued a statement addressing speculation that her missing husband, Lee Andrews, has been active on Facebook. Several social media users reported seeing the Dubai-based businessman logged into Facebook Messenger yesterday, despite having disappeared nearly a week ago after sending a series of concerning messages to his wife.
Former Apprentice star Luisa Zissman was among those who commented on his apparent online presence, suggesting that his kidnappers might be allowing him access to social media. However, Katie has now clarified that it was she who was using his account.
In a post on her own social media, Katie shared a screenshot of Lee's Facebook page, writing: "I have Lee's Facebook it's not him on this it's me." The profile displayed Lee's 13,000 followers, his location as Dubai, and his bio describing himself as an "Investor CEO" and "Married to the beautiful Katie Price."
Katie and Lee married in Dubai earlier this year. The model has been desperately trying to locate her husband, fearing he may have been kidnapped. The clarification from Katie aims to quash rumours and prevent further confusion among those following the case.
