The father of Katie Price's missing husband, Lee Andrews, has issued an update on his son's disappearance, claiming he has been arrested by UAE authorities. Lee Andrews, who describes himself as a millionaire, has been missing for over a week after pulling out of a scheduled Good Morning Britain interview with Katie at the last minute, failing to fly to the UK.
Father's Statement
Speaking from Dubai, where he is supporting his son, Lee's father Pete Andrews told the Daily Mail that Lee is safe but under arrest. 'Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don't know on what charge. I'm not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today. He is not at my house,' Pete said.
Police Confirmation
The chief of Dubai Police, Brigadier Khalid Khalifa al Avadhi, confirmed to the Daily Mail that there are 'many cases against him,' though specific charges have not been disclosed. The development comes after days of uncertainty, with Katie Price expressing despair over her husband's disappearance.
Lee Andrews had been scheduled to appear on Good Morning Britain alongside Katie Price but failed to show up, sparking concerns. The situation has now taken a new turn with the arrest revelation, leaving questions about the nature of the legal issues he faces in Dubai.
