Rebekah Vardy Opens Up About Family's Tough Move to Italy After Wagatha Christie Feud
Rebekah Vardy on Family's Tough Italy Move and Wagatha Fallout

Rebekah Vardy has candidly discussed her family's 'tough' relocation to Italy following her husband Jamie Vardy's transfer to US Cremonese. The 46-year-old WAG revealed that amid the 'chaos' and 'vulnerability' of the move, she came to realize 'what matters most' after her bitter Wagatha Christie feud with Coleen Rooney.

The Feud and Its Aftermath

The legal battle began when Coleen, 40, posted on Instagram accusing Rebekah's account of leaking 'false stories' about her private life. Rebekah denied the allegations and sued for libel, but the case ruled in Coleen's favour, leaving Rebekah liable for £1.5 million in legal fees. Despite the outcome, Rebekah insists she will never apologize, stating, 'Hell will freeze over before I do that.'

New Perspective in Italy

Appearing in the new ITV series The Vardys, Rebekah vowed to show her 'authentic' self. She explained, 'When you completely step out of your comfort zone and rebuild your life somewhere new, it forces you to slow down and really assess what matters most. More importantly, life is for living, and living is exactly what we intend to do. Italy gave us that perspective. Nothing else matters.'

The family, including children Olivia, Finley, Sofia, and stepchildren, faced challenges such as culture shock and a burglary at their Lake Garda apartment, which left Rebekah 'on edge 24/7'. She also struggled to find British comfort foods like baked beans and gravy for her kids.

Moving Forward

Rebekah emphasized that the documentary was meant to be unpolished and authentic. 'For years people have formed opinions about us from online or stories in the press, so this felt like an opportunity to let people see the reality themselves,' she said. Despite the feud, she claims to have no negative feelings towards Coleen, adding, 'I've got no idea what she thinks of me, but I'm not bothered.'

Jamie Vardy defended his wife, calling the portrayal of her as a 'villain' unfair. Rebekah concluded that while she may never apologize, she is 'f***ing bored' of the feud and focused on her family's new chapter in Italy.
