Donald Trump's recent absence from public view has ignited a flurry of speculation regarding the President's health, even as he made a brief appearance at the White House on Wednesday. Left-leaning commentator Aaron Rupar, known for sharing viral clips and provocative takes on X (formerly Twitter), claimed that it has 'now been one week since he has appeared publicly for anything besides a pre-taped interview.' Rupar, who boasts over one million followers, noted that Trump's last public event was a cabinet meeting held the previous Wednesday, just one day after his visit to Walter Reed Medical Center.
White House responds to speculation
The White House swiftly pushed back against these claims. Spokesman Davis Ingle told the Daily Mail: 'President Trump just participated in a 45-minute wide-ranging interview yesterday, and he will be holding open press events tomorrow and Friday.' Ingle further criticised those using the President's schedule to fuel left-wing conspiracies, labelling them 'grade-A morons.'
Despite the official denial, the rumours have persisted online, with some questioning whether Trump's health is deteriorating. However, the White House maintains that the President is fully engaged in his duties and that his schedule is merely a reflection of ongoing work behind the scenes.
