Series Overview
Unforgotten follows a team of police officers as they solve cold cases, uncovering the perpetrators behind long-forgotten crimes. Each season focuses on a different case. The first season delved into the murder of a young man after his skeleton was discovered buried in a basement by builders.
Seasons one to four were led by Nicola Walker (Last Tango in Halifax, River) as tenacious detective Cassie Stuart, alongside her partner Sunny Khan, played by Sanjeev Bhaskar. After Walker's departure, Sinéad Keenan (Little Boy Blue, Being Human) took over as replacement Jessie James.
Each season introduces a brand-new cast of suspects, including BAFTA winner Tom Courtenay, Line of Duty's Mark Bonnar, Outlander's James Fleet, and The Crown's Alex Jennings, among many others.
