A staggering £10.6 million Lotto jackpot is on the verge of being lost forever, with a critical 14-day warning issued to players in the London Borough of Bexley. The National Lottery has launched an urgent street campaign to find the missing millionaire before the prize expires on April 2, 2026.
Urgent Search for Unclaimed Fortune
The winning ticket was purchased in Bexley for the Lotto draw on October 4, 2025, matching all six main numbers: 06, 08, 12, 33, 49, and 59. This secured the entire jackpot of £10,633,323, but the rightful holder has yet to come forward to claim their life-changing windfall.
Street-Level Campaign in Bexley
In a desperate bid to locate the winner, The National Lottery team has taken to the streets of Bexley with a megaphone and a specially branded digi-van. Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Adviser at Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, is leading the search personally.
Andy Carter emphasised: "We’re calling on players who may have bought a ticket in Bexley for the Lotto draw on Saturday, October 4 last year to check their tickets. Double-check any places you may have stashed your pink ticket – any safe spots, an old wallet or even the pocket of a light jacket you haven’t worn since the autumn."
Critical Deadline Approaching
As with all National Lottery draws, players have exactly 180 days to claim their prizes. This means the clock is ticking down rapidly, with the deadline set for April 2, 2026. If the ticket remains unclaimed by that date, the £10.6 million will be forfeited, potentially becoming one of the largest unclaimed prizes in recent lottery history.
Carter added: "Do you live in Bexley or were you in and around the area in the week leading up to the draw? Tell your friends, ask your family, or use it as an excuse to spring clean. I want nothing more than to unite our missing winner with their prize and make them our latest millionaire. It could be you."
How to Claim the Prize
Anyone who believes they hold the winning ticket should act immediately. The National Lottery advises players to:
- Carefully search all potential hiding places for the pink Lotto ticket.
- Contact the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050.
- Alternatively, email help@national-lottery.co.uk for assistance.
This urgent appeal highlights the importance of checking old tickets, as many winners may be unaware of their fortune. The search continues in Bexley, with hopes high that the missing millionaire will emerge before time runs out.
