Hodgkinson Signs with WME Sports, Follows Raducanu

Olympic 800m champion Keely Hodgkinson has taken a significant step in her career by signing with a new agency, mirroring the path of fellow British star Emma Raducanu. The 24-year-old middle-distance runner, who won gold at the Paris 2024 Olympics and was crowned Sports Personality of the Year, has joined WME Sports, an agency that represents an elite roster of sporting talent.

New Agency Deal

WME Sports confirmed the signing on Instagram, stating, "WME Sports is proud to announce the signing of Keely Hodgkinson. Keely is the reigning Olympic 800m champion, having claimed Gold at the Paris 2024 Games. The 24-year-old is also a World Champion, European Champion and World Indoor Champion. Welcome to the family, Keely!"

Hodgkinson joins a list of high-profile clients including British tennis star Emma Raducanu, Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, and two-time Wimbledon winner Carlos Alcaraz. According to The Times, the new arrangement could significantly increase her earning potential. Her company, Runway Pro, saw its assets rise to £1.3 million in 2025, though this remains modest compared to Raducanu's Harbour 6 company, which recorded profits of £9.6 million in the year ending March 2023.

Endorsement Earnings

Hodgkinson already earns approximately £1 million annually through various endorsement deals, according to SportsPro. She is a Nike ambassador in the UK and also represents Avene, Omega, and Vitality. The new agency deal is expected to open further commercial opportunities.

Athletic Achievements

On the track, Hodgkinson has few equals over 800 metres. After winning silver at the Tokyo Olympics, she secured two European titles before claiming her first Olympic gold in Paris in 2024. Despite injury setbacks in 2025, she returned to form in the 2026 indoor season, shaving a second off the world indoor record and winning gold at the World Indoor Championships in Torun.

Her personal best of 1:54.61 makes her the fastest British woman over 800 metres and the sixth-fastest woman of all time. She has set her sights on the outdoor world record of 1:53.28, set by Jarmila Kratochvilova in 1983, which remains the longest-standing mark in athletics.

Future Ambitions

Following her World Indoor gold, Hodgkinson said, "I am so excited to build on this, my word for this year was domination, I want global domination and this is a great way to start. We have a very exciting summer with the European Championships and everything else. I have said for the last couple of years that breaking the world record is possible and I wouldn't have said that if I didn't have evidence in training. A lot has to come together for that to happen and there is no timeframe."
