Tyson Fury has laid down the law to his children regarding his substantial fortune, estimated at £148 million, despite generously gifting his daughter Venezuela and her new husband Noah Price £5 million for their wedding. The boxing legend and his wife, Paris, presented the seven-figure sum to the 16-year-old bride and her 19-year-old groom after they tied the knot last weekend.
The newly-married couple also had their £30,000 Marbella honeymoon funded by Fury. Yet despite such generous presents, the heavyweight star has stuck to a firm policy regarding handing down his wealth, which Celebrity Net Worth estimates to stand at around £148 million. Fury has previously claimed he has £200 million sitting in the bank.
Fury's Philosophy on Inheritance
Despite his wealth, the former world champion has already made clear that all seven of his children, including his eldest daughter, will need to make their own way without relying on a share of his fortune. In December 2024, Fury stated: "I want my kids to get their own money, do their own things and be their own people. I don't believe in just giving all your money to your kids but it will make them weak, spoiled and not value anything, worthless. They'll end up getting to 35 and never having done anything for themselves, apart from spending dad's money."
He elaborated on his concerns: "They'll be middle-aged looking in the mirror and being disappointed. If I buy my son a Lamborghini as soon as he passes his test, he'll probably kill himself in it. But he also wouldn't appreciate it. But if he works hard and gets himself a 2004 Corsa, he will be outside washing the c*** out every day, hoovering it top to bottom. And I will be proud of him because he has done it himself."
Fury added: "I will help them with business deals and investments. But I am not a person who will just give everyone an easy life. Hard work, dedication and sacrifice are what make people strive for different things."
The Wedding and Gift
Venezuela and Noah tied the knot at a chapel near Douglas on the Isle of Man, with a reception held at the Comis Hotel and Golf Club where singer Peter Andre performed. The newlyweds are expected to move into their brand new static home in East Yorkshire when they return from honeymoon. Regarding Fury's lavish wedding present, a source told The Sun: "Tyson and Paris gave Venezuela and Noah a wedding gift of £5 million to kick-start their life. Obviously, they were over the moon. Some family members thought it was a lot of money for a young couple so there were some mixed feelings - but it's up to Tyson and Paris."
The source continued: "Tyson also paid for the honeymoon and got them a traditional gypsy wagon as a sentimental gift. Tyson's got one in his front yard. The wedding was magical and they spent £40,000 on Venezuela's dress alone. That's the gypsy way - go big."
