Arsenal Sign David Raya Permanently After Loan Success

Arsenal have completed the permanent signing of goalkeeper David Raya from Brentford for £27 million, following a successful loan spell. The 28-year-old Spain international won the Premier League Golden Glove last season with 16 clean sheets and is currently at Euro 2024 with the national team.

Raya expressed his delight at the move, saying: 'After a year on loan as a Gunner, I can finally say that I'm an Arsenal player for the coming years. It's a dream come true to be here.'

Sporting director Edu backed Raya to reach new heights, stating: 'He had a beautiful first season with us, winning the Premier League Golden Glove. We know there's so much more to come from him.'
