Eddie Hearn is brimming with confidence that he would defeat Dana White in a boxing match, following the UFC president's recent challenge. White, who has ventured into boxing promotion this year, signed Conor Benn from Hearn's stable to Zuffa Boxing in a controversial move. The once-cordial relationship between the two promoters has soured into a fierce rivalry, with White calling out Hearn for a fight.
Hearn's Bold Predictions
Speaking to Fight Hub TV, Hearn dismissed White's challenge and claimed he is winning the promotional war. 'Dana's having a nightmare,' Hearn said. 'Right now, his butt cheeks must be so red raw, because all I'm doing is spanking him. His UFC's gone to pot, having its worst year. The boxing stuff they're doing is awful. He called me out, I accepted, and he s*** his pants.'
Hearn pointed to weaker UFC events in recent months, though the promotion is staging a card at the White House on 14 June. He also mocked a viral image of himself with hair dye running down his face, which White reportedly believed was real. 'He's had so many Ls. I'm living rent-free in Dana's head,' Hearn added. 'If I got him in a ring, I would spank that big Maris Piper potato head all over the gaff.'
White's Boxing Ventures
Despite Hearn's taunts, Zuffa Boxing has attracted notable fighters like Benn, Jai Opetaia, and Chris Billam-Smith, though early cards have been held in the UFC's small Apex facility. Hearn, meanwhile, is preparing for a blockbuster super-fight between his fighter Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, expected at Wembley Stadium in October or November, with a rematch planned for 2027.
Hearn, 46, who fought at amateur level, believes he would have an easy time against the 56-year-old White, who has sparred in boxing rings. 'He keeps saying no one knew who I was before him. Well, thank you, Dana; you've made me a huge star in America, and our boxing business is flying,' Hearn concluded.
