Mick Schumacher Spotted with New Model Love in Majorca After Family's Emotional Week
Mick Schumacher's new romance with model Clara Ramos

Mick Schumacher, the son of Formula 1 icon Michael Schumacher, has been photographed enjoying the company of a new romantic interest, Portuguese model Clara Ramos. The pair were seen together on a golf course in Camp de Mar, Majorca, over the weekend, marking a fresh chapter for the young racing driver.

A New Chapter in Majorca

The 26-year-old former Haas F1 driver appeared relaxed as he soaked up the winter sun with Ramos, not far from his family's villa on the Balearic island. This public outing comes approximately six months after his split from long-term girlfriend Laila Hasanovic, who is now in a relationship with Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner.

Clara Ramos, who is studying for a PhD at the University of Barcelona, boasts a significant social media presence with over 113,000 Instagram followers. Intriguingly, Mick Schumacher, who has more than three million followers himself, is one of only 600 accounts he follows, which now includes Ramos.

An Emotional Family Milestone

The weekend getaway coincided with a poignant moment for the Schumacher family. The sighting occurred around the time of Michael Schumacher's 57th birthday on Saturday, January 3rd. Mick's sister, Gina-Maria, posted a heartfelt tribute to their father on social media, sharing a family photo with her mother Corinna and brother Mick.

Her caption, "The best forever. Happy birthday, Dad!" accompanied by a red heart, was liked by Mick and received nearly 200,000 likes from fans. The post served as a sombre reminder of the tragic skiing accident over a decade ago that led to the seven-time world champion's withdrawal from public life.

Looking Ahead: A High-Speed Career Move

As his personal life takes a new turn, Schumacher's professional career is also set for a major shift. The German driver is preparing to fly to America in March to begin a new chapter in the IndyCar series. He has been recruited by the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team, which is partly owned by television personality David Letterman.

However, the move comes with a stark warning from Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko. While acknowledging it as a "good step" following an encouraging test, Marko highlighted the dangers of oval racing. "At an average speed of up to 340 km/h, there's a risk of serious accidents. In such a case, it's usually a major crash," he told Sport.de.

The seriousness of Schumacher's new relationship with Clara Ramos remains unclear as he embarks on this transatlantic career move. His previous relationship with Hasanovic lasted for around three years before ending in early 2025.
