A woman has shared a simple plastic bag hack that prevents sand from being tracked everywhere after a trip to the beach. The trick, posted on TikTok by user Lara, involves filling a plastic carrier bag with water and dipping your feet into it to wash off sand before putting on shoes.
How the Hack Works
In the video, which has over one million followers, Lara demonstrates the method: she scoops ocean water into a plastic bag, then dips one foot in to remove sand, and immediately puts on her sandal. She repeats with the other foot. “I don’t have to have sand everywhere,” she says in the clip.
