Tesco is giving away free Pizza Express dough balls to more than two million Clubcard members on Thursday, July 2, 2026, as part of its Freebie Thursdays promotion. The coupons will appear in the Tesco smartphone app, and customers are urged to check their Clubcard tab to see if they are among the lucky winners.
Record Number of Freebies
This week's giveaway is the largest Freebie Thursdays offer yet, with over two million coupons distributed, up from one million last week. The dough balls are available in three varieties: Pizza Express Dough Balls 200g, Pizza Express Garlic Dough Balls 95g, and Pizza Express Original Dough Balls 95g. Coupons are valid until Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Wimbledon-Themed Treat
The freebie coincides with the Wimbledon tennis tournament, which began earlier this week. Tesco has also been offering free strawberries and cream to spectators on their way to the event. Shama Wilson, Tesco's Group Membership & Loyalty Director, said: "Clubcard unlocks the best value at Tesco, and we are always looking for more ways to reward our members. This week, we are serving up a real treat for our Clubcard Members with millions of coupons appearing in the Tesco app."
How to Claim
Customers selected for the offer will see the coupon in the Clubcard tab of the Tesco app. The selection is based on past shopping habits. If not chosen this week, Wilson assured shoppers that "millions more Freebie Thursdays coupons on own-brand and branded products will be available to customers this summer." Previous freebies have included Walkers Sensations crisps, Tesco bakery cookies, and Tesco ice lollies.
