Fitbit Sense 2 Hits Lowest Ever Price at £122.05

The Fitbit Sense 2, the most advanced Fitbit ever made, has dropped to its lowest ever price on Amazon. Priced at £122.05, this represents a 23 percent saving on its previous list price of £158.99 and an even bigger discount on the retail price of £219.99. According to price tracker site Camelcamelcamel, this is the cheapest the model has ever been.

Key Features of the Fitbit Sense 2

The Fitbit Sense 2, released in 2022, remains the top model in Fitbit's current range. It boasts an AMOLED screen, built-in GPS, up to six days of battery life, 24/7 stress monitoring, and the ability to take an ECG to monitor heart health. Sensors also measure blood oxygen levels and skin temperature, and the watch can alert users if their heart rate goes too low or too high.

Like competing smartwatches, it delivers notifications from connected iPhones or Android phones, supports contactless payments via Google Pay, and offers turn-by-turn directions with Google Maps. The Fitbit App has recently been rebranded as Google Health with a visual overhaul, but this does not affect the Sense 2's functionality.

Comparison with Other Fitbit Models

The Fitbit Charge 6, another option, also features GPS, Google Pay, and Google Maps, and is currently on sale for £79. Those who prefer a slimmer tracker can save by choosing that model. However, the Sense 2 offers the most comprehensive feature set for tracking daily steps, heart rate, distance, sleep, and stress, as well as logging run routes without needing a phone thanks to its GPS.

Value Compared to Competitors

Henry Burrell, who reviewed the Sense 2 at launch, notes that at this price, it's worth considering alternatives like the £219 Apple Watch SE 3. That model offers third-party apps but is much pricier. The Fitbit is better for those prioritizing long battery life and not needing apps like Spotify or Strava on their wrist. Fitbit users can link their Strava account to Google Health to automatically upload workouts.

The £122.05 price applies only to the black model and is available until July 24, 2026. No Amazon Prime subscription is required to get this deal.
