Chessington World of Adventures Unveils First Look at New PAW Patrol Themed Land

Fans of the beloved children's television series PAW Patrol are in for a treat as Chessington World of Adventures has just released the first official images of its brand new themed land. This immersive experience, set to open in the spring, promises to bring the animated world of Adventure Bay to life in a spectacular fashion.

A £15 Million Immersive Adventure

The £15 million development spans an impressive 1.4 acres within the popular Surrey theme park. It has been designed as a one-of-a-kind destination that will feature four thrilling rides based on the heroic canine characters from the show. Each attraction is meticulously crafted to immerse visitors in the action-packed universe of PAW Patrol.

Meet the Rides: Four New Adventures Await

The new land will boast four distinct rides, each offering a unique experience:

  • Chase's Mountain Mission: This entry-level rollercoaster will whisk passengers on a high-speed rescue vehicle as they assist Chase and Everest in saving the day. The ride features the iconic PAW Patrol Lookout Tower, a real-life replica of the structure seen on the television show.
  • Skye's Helicopter Heroes: Riders will board Skye's helicopter and take to the skies, complete with spinning rotors and panoramic views of the themed area.
  • Zuma's Hovercraft Adventure: Fans can hop on and become co-pilot to the lovable Labrador Zuma on this 'Drifter' ride, the first of its kind in the UK, journeying across water from Adventure Bay to Seal Island.
  • Marshall's Firetruck Rescue: Visitors will ride a bright red fire truck as it makes its way through the streets of Adventure Bay, offering a lively and interactive experience.

First Look Images Reveal Iconic Details

The newly released photographs provide a tantalising glimpse into what visitors can expect. They showcase the Lookout Tower in all its glory, with Rubble, the construction pup, standing proudly in front wearing his classic yellow helmet and jacket. The images also reveal colourful, PAW Patrol-themed decorations and road-like pathways that wind around the tower, creating an authentic Adventure Bay atmosphere.

A Creative Labour of Love

Sian Hooper, Creative Director at Merlin Magic Making, expressed her enthusiasm for the project. "Bringing World of PAW Patrol to life is a true labour of love," she said. "From the very first sketches to seeing the iconic Lookout Tower rise above Chessington, our goal has been to capture the magic, energy and teamwork that millions of families know and adore from the show. Every ride has been designed to make guests feel like they're stepping into Adventure Bay."

Search for the UK's Biggest PAW Patrol Fan

To celebrate the grand opening, Chessington is launching a nationwide search to find the UK's biggest PAW Patrol fan. The lucky winner will be awarded the honorary title of 'PAWject Manager' for the attraction. This unique role offers an incredible prize package that includes:

  1. Being the first to test out all the new rides.
  2. The chance to meet the PAW Patrol characters in their new home.
  3. Tickets for their family to attend the opening event.
  4. A night's stay in one of the five specially designed PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms at Chessington.
  5. Additional PAW Patrol merchandise and goodies.

Applicants must be aged between four and six years old, possess "a love of all things PAW Patrol", work well in a team, and have a big imagination. Entries for this exciting competition close on March 4.
