First Look: Chessington's PAW Patrol Land Seeks Child Testers for 2026 Opening
Chessington's PAW Patrol Land Seeks Child Testers

Chessington World of Adventures has unveiled exciting first-look images of its highly anticipated PAW Patrol themed land, set to open in spring 2026. The £15 million immersive experience promises to bring the beloved animated series to life across 1.4 acres, with the park already seeking a lucky preschooler to become the official 'PAWject Manager' and test the attractions before they open to the public.

PAW-some First Glimpse at Adventure Bay

The newly released images showcase significant progress on the World of PAW Patrol area, including the installation of the iconic PAW Patrol Lookout Tower. This real-life replica of the tower featured in the popular Nickelodeon and Paramount+ series stands as the centrepiece of the development, complete with the legendary PAW Patrol pup tag that serves as its pièce de résistance.

Creative director Sian Hooper from Merlin Magic Making, the mastermind behind the new land, has been overseeing the finishing touches alongside PAW Patrol character Rubble, who appears to be supervising the construction in the released images. The attention to detail aims to faithfully recreate Adventure Bay, the fictional setting from the top-rated preschool series produced by Spin Master.

Four Themed Rides for Junior Patrollers

The immersive experience will feature four carefully designed rides, each themed around a different member of the PAW Patrol pack:

  1. Chase's Mountain Mission: An entry-level rollercoaster where riders join Chase and Everest in a high-speed rescue vehicle mission.
  2. Skye's Helicopter Heroes: Guests climb aboard Skye's iconic helicopter for a spinning adventure with panoramic views, emphasising teamwork and tail wags.
  3. Zuma's Hovercraft Adventure: The UK's first 'Drifter' ride takes visitors on a hovercraft journey from Adventure Bay to Seal Island.
  4. Marshall's Firetruck Rescue: A high-spirited ride where junior patrollers hang tight to a rocking, rolling red firetruck through Adventure Bay's streets.

Unique Opportunity for Young PAW Patrol Fans

In a particularly innovative move ahead of the spring 2026 opening, Chessington is searching for a preschooler to become the official 'PAWject Manager' this spring. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allows one lucky PAW Patrol fan to provide final approval on the new land before it opens to fellow patrollers.

The chosen child will enjoy several exclusive benefits, including:

  • Being the first to test all four themed rides
  • Meeting their PAW Patrol heroes in their new Adventure Bay home
  • Receiving family tickets to the official opening event
  • Enjoying a night in one of Chessington's five PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms
  • Collecting additional PAW Patrol merchandise and goodies

Parents can submit applications on behalf of their children until 11.59pm on Wednesday 4th March, with entries requiring an explanation of why their child would be 'PAWfect' for this unique role. Further details about the World of PAW Patrol experience will be announced in the coming months as construction progresses toward the 2026 opening.

Sian Hooper expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating: "Bringing World of PAW Patrol to life is a true labour of love. From the very first sketches to seeing the iconic Lookout Tower rise above Chessington, our goal has been to capture the magic, energy and teamwork that millions of families know and adore from the show."

"Every ride has been designed to make guests feel like they're stepping into Adventure Bay — whether they're skidding and sliding with Zuma or soaring sky-high with Skye. We can't wait for families to join the patrol this spring and create their own pup-tacular memories."
