First Ever Paw Patrol Land Set to Launch at Chessington World of Adventures This Spring
A brand new £15 million PAW Patrol themed land is scheduled to open at Chessington World of Adventures this spring, marking the first of its kind in the United Kingdom. The immersive 1.4-acre area, styled after the popular Nickelodeon series' setting of Adventure Bay, began construction in March 2025 and promises to deliver an exciting experience for families and fans of the animated show.
Immersive Rides and Themed Attractions
The themed land will feature a prominent lookout tower and four distinct rides, each centred around a different member of the PAW Patrol team. Highlights include:
- Chase's Mountain Mission – a rollercoaster adventure.
- Skye's Helicopter Heroes – a spinning flight experience.
- Zuma's Hovercraft Adventure – the UK's inaugural "drifter" ride, designed to simulate sliding, drifting, and skidding motions.
- Marshall's Firetruck Rescue – a journey through Adventure Bay.
Zuma's Hovercraft Adventure is particularly notable as the country's first drifter ride, offering a unique and thrilling experience for visitors.
Enhanced Accommodation and Visitor Perks
In addition to the rides, Chessington has introduced five new PAW Patrol-themed hotel rooms, capable of accommodating up to two adults and three children. These rooms start from £155 per night on a bed and breakfast basis and include exclusive benefits such as a 'Pup Pass' for meet and greet fast track access and a reserve and ride one-shot pass.
The family-friendly theme park, which already boasts a zoo, a SEA LIFE aquarium, two themed hotels, and over 1,000 animals across 128 acres, continues to expand its offerings to enhance the visitor experience.
Competition and Creative Vision
Ahead of the official opening, a competition is running until 4 March 2026 to select a "PAWject Manager" – the first individual to test the new rides this spring. This initiative adds an element of excitement and engagement for fans eagerly anticipating the launch.
Sian Hooper, creative director at Merlin Magic Making, expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating: "Bringing World of PAW Patrol to life is a true labour of love. From the very first sketches to seeing the iconic Lookout Tower rise above Chessington, our goal has been to capture the magic, energy and teamwork that millions of families know and adore from the show. Every ride has been designed to make guests feel like they're stepping into Adventure Bay — whether they're skidding and sliding with Zuma or soaring sky-high with Skye. We can't wait for families to join the patrol this spring and create their own pup-tacular memories."
Planning Your Visit
While an exact opening date has not yet been announced, families can already book tickets for Paw Patrol Land online for late spring and summer visits. It is advisable to book in advance, as this can lead to savings of up to 48 per cent compared to paying on the day. However, visitors planning trips earlier in the season should note that the new attraction may not be operational at that time.
For those looking to extend their stay, PAW Patrol-themed bedrooms are available at the Chessington Safari Hotel. Overnight packages include complimentary parking and breakfast, with the option to add theme park and zoo entry during the booking process.
