Marella Cruises has revealed an impressive roster of celebrity performers for its 30th birthday festivities, with music icons Pixie Lott and Lemar headlining special sailings. The cruise line, a division of travel conglomerate TUI, will commemorate this significant milestone across its entire fleet of five vessels starting from May 1. Passengers can look forward to a series of seven-night themed voyages brimming with live musical performances, appearances by well-known personalities, and nostalgic entertainment inspired by the 1990s.
Star-Studded Performances Across the Fleet
Brit Award-nominated singer-songwriter Pixie Lott will bring her hit songs to Marella Discovery, promising to "Turn It Up" for guests. This particular sailing will also feature a live question-and-answer session with Michaela Strachan, one of Britain's most cherished broadcasters. Strachan will share captivating anecdotes from her remarkable four-decade career in television, spanning from quirky children's programmes to late-night music shows and wildlife filming adventures across the globe and within the UK. Additionally, Michaela Strachan will conduct another live Q&A session aboard Marella Voyager during its 30th anniversary voyage.
Diverse Entertainment Line-Up
The birthday celebrations extend throughout the fleet, with Marella Discovery 2 hosting singer and radio presenter Fleur East in Palma, alongside a live Q&A with Olympic legend Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards. Marella Explorer, also departing from Palma, will showcase BoyzLife, featuring Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden performing popular hits from Boyzone and Westlife, complemented by another interactive session with Eddie Edwards.
Meanwhile, Marella Voyager will highlight a headline performance by La Voix, a favourite from Strictly Come Dancing and Drag Race. In Limassol, guests on Marella Discovery will enjoy a live Q&A with Anthea Turner as she reminisces about her career across beloved British television programmes.

Double Brit Award winner Lemar will perform on Marella Explorer 2, bringing his collection of seven UK Top 10 singles to the ship's entertainment schedule. The anniversary cruises will also include a variety of themed onboard events such as a Birthday Gala, "Party Like It's 1996" evenings, quayside celebrations, 1990s trivia quizzes, and classic television box sets from that era.
