Ford Fiesta Crashes Into Bootle Opticians After Hit by Vauxhall

A Ford Fiesta crashed into an opticians in Bootle on Tuesday morning after being struck by another vehicle. Merseyside Police were called to The Marian Square, Bootle, around 11am on June 30 after the Ford Fiesta smashed into Netherton Eye Centre.

Incident Details

Police confirmed that the Ford Fiesta was parked at the time of the incident and was hit by a Vauxhall Corsa. The impact pushed the unoccupied Ford Fiesta through the windows of the optician. No injuries have been reported, and nobody was trapped inside the shop.

Video footage shows a blue car crashed into the front of the eye centre, with damage to the windows. A Vauxhall car can be seen stopped behind the vehicle, and crowds of people gathered around the cars. Police also reported that the shop's shutters were damaged.
