A violent altercation involving knives at a London Underground station has left one man injured and led to an arrest, British Transport Police have confirmed.
Morning Disturbance at South London Station
The incident unfolded at Colliers Wood Underground station in south-west London on Wednesday, 17 December 2025. Police were called at approximately 10.30am following reports of a fight between three young men where knives were reportedly seen.
Emergency Response and Arrest
Officers from the British Transport Police (BTP) attended the scene swiftly. A man in his twenties was subsequently arrested at the station "on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon".
The London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called at 10.29am to reports of a stabbing. They dispatched significant resources, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and a paramedic in a fast response car.
A man was treated for a head injury at the scene before being taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, according to the police force.
Appeal for Witnesses
Enquiries into the disturbing event remain ongoing. Authorities are urging anyone with information or who witnessed the altercation to contact British Transport Police.
