Christy Turlington, the 57-year-old former Calvin Klein model, announced on Thursday that her daughter Grace Burns, 22, has graduated from New York University.

Grace Burns, who began her part-time modeling career three years ago, can now pursue modeling full-time. She has already posed for Alberta Ferretti and British Vogue, and with a top booking agent secured, she is expected to take on more projects in the coming months.

Christy Turlington, a top 1990s model for Versace and Fendi, shared images from the graduation ceremony. Grace wore a purple gown and held flowers, while Christy donned an ivory blouse and beige skirt. Her father, filmmaker Edward Burns, wore a gray suit with a purple tie and gave a thumbs up. Christy and Edward also have a 20-year-old son, Finn Burns.
In her post, Turlington wrote, 'What a week - and what a milestone. As a mother and as a parent, this moment feels profound. So many hopes and dreams for my firstborn are unfolding far sooner than I ever imagined.' She added, 'There's a saying: educate a girl and you educate a nation. That's a powerful responsibility - but if anyone is ready to carry it, it's my daughter.'
