Banjo and Ro's Grand Island Hotel Series 2 Confirmed, But Fans Face Long Wait
Banjo and Ro's Grand Island Hotel Series 2 Confirmed, Wait Until 2027

The BBC has confirmed a second series of Banjo and Ro's Grand Island Hotel, but fans will have to wait until 2027 for the new episodes. The popular renovation show follows interior designer Banjo Beale and his partner Ro as they transform the derelict Ulva House on the remote Scottish island of Ulva into a boutique hotel.

Return to Ulva

The six-episode series will continue documenting the couple's efforts to restore the period property while adapting to island life. After moving to Ulva in 2025 with their dog Grampa, Banjo and Ro have faced the challenges of isolation and tight budgets. This time, the family has expanded with a Scottish Deerhound pup named Cousin Jerry.

Viewers can expect to see familiar faces, including locals and the team of craftspeople helping with the ambitious renovation. Banjo said: "We're so excited to be back. We blew our budget last year so this time around we're really getting creative. The plans are bigger, and so is our family."

Bigger Plans and More Animals

Banjo added: "As we continue the ambitious restoration of Ulva House, we'll be welcoming new puppies, peacocks, a llama and plenty of drama. Life on a remote island is never straightforward, but that's exactly what makes it such an adventure."

Ro commented: "Most people, after renovating a crumbling mansion on a remote island, would probably have a lie down. Banjo looked at the situation and decided what we really needed was more animals, more projects and less money."

Fan Favorite

The first series was a hit on BBC iPlayer, ranking among the platform's top 10 most-watched lifestyle shows of 2026. Fans have praised the show, with one calling it "the best programme on TV" and another describing it as "amazing and perfect viewing for cold evenings."
