Amanda Holden, the Britain's Got Talent judge and Heart Radio presenter, is a proud mother to two daughters, Lexi, 18, and Hollie, 11, whom she shares with husband Chris Hughes. The family recently celebrated Lexi's 18th birthday with a party where Amanda took to the decks to play Sophie Ellis-Bextor's 'Murder on the Dancefloor'. The trio are often seen together, with Amanda sharing photos of them in matching outfits.
Lexi, born Alexa, arrived via C-section on January 21, 2006, with Amanda famously wearing full makeup for the birth due to a condition called Placenta Previa. Now 18, Lexi is pursuing a career in modelling and has signed with Kate Moss's Storm modelling agency. Amanda has stated that Lexi will finish her education before focusing on modelling, describing her as 'unfazed' and 'not easily impressed'.
Despite their close relationship, Amanda has set boundaries, once confiscating an outfit from Lexi that she deemed inappropriate for a festival, keeping it for herself instead. The mother and daughter are often compared to sisters due to their striking resemblance.
Hollie, born on January 23, 2012, had a difficult birth that left Amanda with a torn artery and severe bleeding, causing her heart to stop for 40 seconds. Amanda later sought therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Hollie is described as a 'natural performer' and Amanda believes she has what it takes to enter showbusiness.
Despite her daughters' potential interest in fame, Amanda has banned them from appearing on ITV's Love Island, stating a firm 'No' when asked about the possibility.
