David Beckham has marked his eldest sister Lynne's 50th birthday by sharing a rare childhood photograph on Instagram. The former Manchester United footballer, 47, posted a family picture showing himself, Lynne, younger sister Joanne, and their father Ted. In the snap, a young David with spiky hair smiles for the camera alongside the birthday girl.
Beckham also shared a second nostalgic photo, seemingly from Lynne's teenage years, and wrote: 'Happy 50th Lynne hope you have an amazing day sis you deserve it.' He added an apology for his choice of photos, accompanied by laughing emojis, saying: 'p.s sorry about the second pic.'
Fans were quick to comment on the sibling antics. One user remarked: 'A picture only a sibling would post! Evil and awesome at the same time.' Another noted Joanne's resemblance to Beckham's 10-year-old daughter Harper Seven, writing: 'Harper looks like your sister Jo Jo!'
Earlier this month, Beckham returned home for dinner with his mother Sandra, sharing the menu details on Instagram: 'Can't beat dinner with mum cammon, chips, pineapple, fried egg, coleslaw and mushy peas... Favorite as a kid thanks mum followed by a jam doughnut and a cup of tea.' He also apologised to sister Joanne for missing out, prompting Lynne to joke: 'Oh well @jo_jo_beckham_ we might get dinner one day.'
